I have a small proyect with an S7-1200, and I have to send sms messages (active alarms). I am using the modem MD720-3 and the communication module CM1241. I have also downloaded the communication library for the S7-1200. I am just beginning the first tests, so far without much success. There is something that I dont know if it is necessary or not to configure. One the parameteters of the communication block is int_SERVICE_CENTRAL. Apparently that is to configure the phone number of the SMS central service. I thought that this number is somehow already configured in the SIM card. Is that really necessary to implemente in the call to the block? The problem es that I am testing the system in my office, and then the cabinet with the PLC will be shipped to another country, where the customer will install its own sim card, and I have no idea at the moment what the sms central service number could be.....
