Is it possible to modify the IP addess of a PN CPU dynamically? (perhaps from an HMI?) |

Hi, I'm sorry this is not possible because the IP-Address is part of the Step 7 program and included in the SDB's which can only be changed by Step 7. When you use a CP343 which supports the configuration of the CP from the user program this is possible. More can be found in the following FAQ: How can you configure an S7 CP during runtime? |

Hello all together, may I interrupt here for a second. I know this feature is rather new, but it is called Mini_IP_CONFIG. It is part of STEP 7 V 5.5 and the brand new CPUs.
