hello every body what is the effect of modulation depth p1803 parameter change on the out put voltage? and the other things? we have problem. the output voltage do not extend from 367v in the drive output the motor current reachs the nomical current but beacuse of low voltage in the output (LESS THAN 400V) we can not use maximom namical motor power. for example for 800kw 400v 1397a motor the working statuse is 700kw 360v 1397a so we can not increse the load input drive voltage is 413v |

Which is drive? How much is set point? scale? What are reference parameters values? i.e. p2000, p2001, p2002 etc. etc. Is drive current limit operates? |

More system detail is required, motor detail and drive part numbers? But, for now: Your line Voltage at 413V (413 x 1.35) = 558V at DC Link For 100% modulation (full block) 2√3. 558/π√2 = 435 Volts for 95% modulation = 413 Volts for 85% modulation = 370 Volts This is a large motor operating from a low supply Voltage, as previously requested by Piscean please supply Motor, drive, and driven system detail. hello thanks for your reply we have a 900kw seimens g150 vfd (serial number is 6sl3351-1ae38-4ba1) and the motor is a 400v ,800kw ,1450 rpm seimens (1LA8-453-4PC90-z) and our dc link is 530v our modulation depth is set 106% but the actual modulation depth shown in real time in the panel is 96% so according to the formula we must have 413v at the output terminal but we have 367v the other parameters is as follows scale p1999 = 100% p2000 = 1800 rpm veff p2001 =1000 Aeff p2002 = 2040 P2003 = 10254.28 n/m p2004 = 1932 KW p1082 = 1600 RPM p1803 = 106.6% p1300 = 21 mod_depth r0028 =96.4% best regards |

Please check values entered in reference parameters i.e. p2000, p2001, p2002, p2003, p2004 etc. etc. & compare with motor name plate rated parameters. I guess those are not matching. |

Having difficulty locating this reference No. 6sl3351-1ae38-4ba1? The motor 1LA8453-4PC, for 800kW, at 400Volts, current draw will be 1,363 Amperes. A G150 Cabinet Unit, 6SL3710-2GE41-6AA3, Voltage 380 / 480 supply, supports a 1516 Ampere base load current. Can this be the device which you have? Tractor |

hello you are right. the order numbers are exactly what you mentioned. a 900kw vfd with 400v input and a 800kw motor with 400v input. |

I have attached detail for the motor 1LA88453-4PC90. The Z options indicated, may apply to your application? The motor operates from a 400V supply, in delta, close enough to the supply which you have. The power will be as specified for your motor drive combination. Tractor
