Monitoring Actual Value Position FM353 using VAT??

I cant monitor actual value position using VAT...!! may sameone could help me.!! Not only actual value, speed value also. i have try to monitor using VAT at DB1.DBD 310"DB_FM".ACT_VAL. This DBD value is always 0 even i jog to positif or negatif way. If i monitor the actual value position from Start UP Window (HW Config -> FM353 -> parameter -> Start UP), i can see the actual value increase while i jog the FM353 to Positif way (GO_P). BUT on VAT, the actual value alway 0.. i have been read the manual, but still cant understand. I am very confuse how the cpu 315 knows the actual position and actual speed of the fm353? May u guys have an idea about this... Thanks before, Kind Regards, Liwan

And it's works. ahsan1820post: i have done it ,actually the counter can be read by enabling the "service data enable "bit in cyclic OB. DBB42.4 is the read data enable bit and the value of output pulses is store in ,pulse output counter DBD406. Regards, Thanks All
