More than one network in a IM151-8 CPU

Janson Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hello, Is it possible to add an external network card (ethernet) to a IM 151-8 CPU (PN) in order to communicate with two different networks? I need one "internal" network for my nodes, panels and other stuff. Then I need to get out to a larger network with a complete different IP-adressing. Thank you in advance! Best Regards, Sara

Pittiplatsch Posts: 1368 Rating: (128)	Hello Janson, no. That is not possible with the ET 200S CPU. To combine two different ethernet networks, you need a router. If you want to divide the internal and external network with firewalls, you can use the SCALANCE S602 for example....
