I need example program where I can see connection between data bloc with Profidrive telegram and any telegram in non siemens drive for control this drive in Motion Control loop over Profinet. Please help. I can`t create stepper algorithm for MC_HOME function because I don`t understand what this function need. Sorry for my English. Thanks.

_Andrey Posts: 21 Rating: (1)	Hello. Thanks for your answer. Allow me to describe my problem. I have configured MotionControl object by name Axis1 in my test project and the drive is configured for as data bloc. I have configured Profidrive telegram for communication between the program and the drive. But when I`m starting MC_Power function its status not changed. I don`t understand what does this function need. I changed all bits in telegram but the status not change. I need the example where i can see the sequence for starting MC_XXX functions by DataBloc connected with the drive. In my project I use Unidrive M200 over Profinet and S7-ET200SP siemens station with CPU on board. Thanks.

Maybe you have to use OB "MC_PreServo" and/or "MC_PostServo" to copy telegram data DB to drive telegram... If you need an application example, please try this: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109741575 In this example, the use of these OBs is shown in combination with an hydraulic axis...

I created DB with drive field as PD_TEL1 data type, And I have configured Axis in my project for using this created DB as data connection. and i`m using OB_Pre and OB_PostServo for communication between drive and DataBlock. My configuration is not yet to the complexity level that you are showing there. So what follows is guessing only. Hopefully the Subject Expert can follow through. I am wondering why the block you have listed in your configuration is marked in yellow. Is DB97 and that yellow marked DB set as not optimized? I am of the opinion it should be not optimized. I am not a fan of the POKE command in the interrupt OBs. What is the scan time set for your servo OB? BR

Create a new data block of type "Global DB". 2. Select the data block in the project tree and select "Properties" from the shortcut menu. 3. Disable the following attributes under Attributes and accept the change with "OK": – "Only store in load memory" – "Data block write-protected in the device" – "Optimized block access" for technology version < V4.0 4. Open the data block in the block editor. 5. Insert a tag structure of type "PD_TELx" textually in the block editor. This tag structure contains the "Input" tag structure for the input area of the telegram and the "Output" tag structure for the output area of the telegram. Note "Input" and "Output" relate to the view of the closed loop position control. For example, the input area contains the actual values of the drive and the output area contains the setpoints for the drive. The data block may contain the data structures of multiple axes and encoders and other contents. ====
