Motion Control

The problem I have I cannot seem to get it to Commission using the interface in the TIA. Attached are the screen shots. The error I get is that it keeps saying the parameters are not correctly set in the Axis Object, but when configuring the block prior to commissioning, the settings all get a blue or grren tick. Using V11 Basic ( not yet upgraded to P1 or SP2 as the VirtualBox framework the S7 Basic program is laoded into, hasn't got the memory to allow an upgrade). PLC is 1214C Ver 1 (I think). I have tried leaving the Select "Enable Output" box blank, as I cannot decipher anywhere in Siemens manuals etc what this is for Any ideas? Attachment Motion Configure Problem.zip (362 Downloads)

0_Einstein Diamond Expert Joined: 7/7/2010 Last visit: 1/16/2025 Posts: 15539 Rating: (2465)	So many big bugs were fixed from the base install of V11 with upgrading to SP2 & patching with Update 5 (current release/update), many of which I believe were motion related, I think you will not get resolution until you get at least SP1 Update 2 or 3, but update 5 is current so go for that.
