motor block not flashing when there is trip feed back

quadri Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	Hello, i have programmed my application using a motor driver block from standard library. i have connected trip feed back of the motor at MSS input of the motor driver block. i want the block to flash with red and yellow colour when ever this inputs comes. but on monitoring in the runtime graphics when ever there is a feed back at MSS the motor stops( it is not flashing). can any one help me in this issue. why the graphic is not flashing when there is a input at MSS? is there any other way to make the block icon flash when ever there is a trip feed back? can i change the flash colours of the block icon? im using PCS 7V7.1 Thanks irfan

hdhosseini Diamond Member Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 12/5/2024 Posts: 6856 Rating: (1365)	Hello quadri, Why do not modify the motor properties in WINCC.Find the graphic page (search cross reference of WINCC for the object), select the object and in its properties assign flashing between 2 colors you like to an external binary tag from PLC. Yoga Shankar Posts: 288 Rating: (22)	Under normal circumstances (if thats the only motor which you need to show), you could go in for manual customisation. better to create a copy of the motor block icon with a diffeent icon version muber ( shown as <blck name>/x where x is a number.) if this modified block icon exists in the typicals pdl of the OS project, you may useit wherever required without considerable engineering effort for each separate block icon. And whats more, this way all block icons will look and perform alike and can be centrally managed.

Hello quadri, are using the PCS7 Standard Lib. Block Icon ? or it was customized by someone. If it is a Block Icon then Extended Status Display used, you can try to use the Default Block Icon from the @PCS7Typical.pdl & connect it manually, or post your Block Icon Screen Shot.

Hello quadri, Copy the Block I con From @PCS7 typicals where you want to show, Select it in the Dynamic Wizard -> Standard Dynamics Tab -> Link Prototype to a Structure. Assigned the Motor which you are testing,
