Motor is not rotating with SLVC or With encoder.

Neeru1510 Posts: 32 Rating: (0)	Dear all, Sinamics S120. This is basic problem but i do not know solution please help. Motor is of siemens make 10 A with motor module of 18 A.(SLM).The problem is i could not run this drive on slvc mode or with encoder. Fault comes 7900 drive motor blocked. Even the encoder feedback is correct with its direction. For suppose if this is not running in with encoder it should run in slvc. Regarding other factors like motor is decoupled & Free to rotate. Motor data is correct. When i give start command. It becomes operation enabled & take 6.7A current. As i put speed set point 50 rpm. Motor doesnt rotate. Only v/f mode is successful running the motor. What should i do.

While doing rotaty measurement setpoint is 470 but motor not rotate & give fault of id failed due to speed not acquire by as given set point. And finally without rotatay id when i give on command motor doesnt rotate & after some 4 to 5 sec drive motor blocked fault comes because motor is not rotating on given rpm.

zako_ Gold Member Joined: 5/22/2012 Last visit: 3/24/2022 Posts: 895 Rating: (65)	Please test in V/f mode and compare r62 with r61. Does they have the same value (and direction). If you have double/half speed in r61 then it could be the number of encoder tracks or the pole pair number (maybe you have parametrized the number of poles only)?

Advanced Member Joined: 10/15/2009 Last visit: 2/9/2021 Posts: 20 Rating: (0)	Dear Neeru, Enter the motor Parameter in Quick Commissioning, and set the parameter P3900=1, If Fault come, go to fault and re check the motor corresponding parameter. and No fault came, then your data is Correct. next step is to do motor stationary, if this is also done, you can run the motor.
