Moving a IWxxx QWxxx error

mauriciolinhares Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi and sorry for my English. I'm trying to move a IWxxx QWxxx but the CPU (ET200S) reports an error D280 me exactly what I'm doing on the block this movement! What can I do? Thank you.

Hello mauriciolinhares, If my understanding is right, you are trying to move a Input Word to a Output Word using a MOVE command. Kindly confirm. Does the Input and Output address lies within the central IO or on a Distributed IO? Can you post a screenshot of D280 error so that we can see where this error is thrown.

When I try to move (IWXXX to QW125), the error happens. It seems that values above QW125 I can not move and the error D280persists. PS:Sorry if it's a simple problem but I am new to SIEMENS. Hello mauriciolinhares, Is QW125 a part of your online system? Also when you double clicked on the D280 error, where did it took you? Post a screenshot of that if possible.

Even though it is not commonly done in an S7, it is permissble andyou can use odd numbers for Word access, so this is not the cause of the problem. @ mauriciolinhares: can you upload your project here for evaluation (all i can tell you is that there is something "wrong" in your FC7)?
