Moving Files from SD Card to USB on TP1200 Comfort Panel

DaveNutts Posts: 15 Rating: (1)	I am trying to MOVE files from the Storage Card SD to a USB stick on a TP 1200 Comfort Panel using a VB Script. The overall scenario is as follows: I have Archived log files on the SD card and also exported recipe files. The ARchived log files haev been archived using the HMI built in functions and are archived in a different folder on the SD card than where the logging takes place. I have a button that the user presses to copy files to the USB stick. This can happen at any time so I need to check the USB stick (path) is present - this code is working ok. The problems occure when I try to MOVE the files to the USB stick. I have also tried the copy of the files and get the same problem. I have tested the code using Windows 7 file system and it works, but when i change the code to Windows CE file system I get a File Move error. The error i am getting is: Error #: -2147024809 Descr: The parameter is incorrect I get some "unprintable" characters after the message which is also confusing me. I have attached the script code as a txt file here for you to see what I am trying to do. Please note, the script in the file attacehd is only part of my script - I have several options ("if then else" clauses) to handle wither i am to move recipe exports, Archived log files or other files. Am I doing something silly or not doing something I should be doing ? Maybe the TP1200 Comfort panel doesnt fully support the WinCE file functions ? I already archive the log files at the end of a batch process and these are archived to a seperate folder on the SD Card. I already use the function "export datarecords" to export the recipe records to a seperate folder on the SD Card. This woks perfectly well. My problem is that at some time unknown to the control system, a manager will come along with his USB stick, insert it into the back of the panel and want to transfer the already archived logs and exported recipes to his USB Stick. Therefore, my MOVE file problem is seperate from archiving and exporting - I just want to move these files to th USB stick. Hope that is clearer? thanks

DaveNutts Posts: 15 Rating: (1)	The problem appears to be the use of wildcards. I am trying to move *.csv files. If i do a test script to move a single known filename it works fine. My problem is that I do not know at runtime what the filenames are - just that they are all CSV types. Aaaarggghhhh!! Has anyone had this before - and perhaps worked around it ?

What I have discovered so far: When I do the MoveFile to the SD in a different directory (dest_Path \Storage Card SD\Test\), it works fine, When I change the destination path to USB (dest_Path \Storage Card USB\Test\) I get the error Access dinied (Error nr. -2147024891) When the MoveFile works (to SD) the source directory is gone and the destination directory is created. So the source directory must exist before the move file and the destination directory must NOT exist. It is created by the MoveFile command. Does anybody have any suggestion?
