MP 277 10' Touch Ports Problem

After that MP277 OS is booting up. I had tried OS Restore with help of manual, While updating OS to Multipanel power got off.After that not able to start.and not able to update too. I have simatic field PG and PPI cable as specified RS232/PPI Multimaster Cable, MLB NO. 6ES7 901-3CB30-0XA0. I had checked setting in MP the four dip switch in UP (ie. for PPI cable communication) After long time i had found that ports(MPI/DP,Ethernet,USB) presents in MP277 are failed. Wheater there is any way to check theports are working inHMI's.

The Body Gold Member Joined: 5/13/2008 Last visit: 12/18/2019 Posts: 836 Rating: (71)	Hi Wincc, the four dip switch in UP is set per default and shouldn't be changed. Concerning to the PPI Multi Master cable: The DIP switch number 5 has to be set to PPI/freeport ("0"), reboot of the cable is necessary after made changes. The development version of the cable has to be 05 or even higher. Testing the ports is only possible with the ethernet portwith pinging the panel by an PC. The other ports can't be checked for functional disorder.

OS of HMI is not booting up.How i will know IP address, any default IP is present without OS. I have Know idea....... Pls guide me........................

If that idea does not work please contact the Siemens Hotline, because only they can repair the panel.
