MP 377 REDUNDANCY and HOW TO DISABLE TOUCH SCREEN

gkaim Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello, The application is in a ship control room with two MP377 (horizontaly mount) equipped with trackball USB devices.Both MP 377 are connected to same S7-300 PLC with PROFIBUS DP. Question 1:The two MP377 are tobe used as dublicate redundant stations with the same functionality (monitoring and control). The idea is in the case of one MP377 fails the operation still permitted with the other. Is it possible ? Question 2: The user wants only trackball "pointing and click" operation. The touch screen have to be disabled for accidental false operations from the drop of objects or other events he says. How can I DISABLE TOUCH SCREEN? Thanks and regards, gkaim
