MP277 10" Key and Simadyn - D

dmiller Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I would like to replace an old OP45 with an MP277. The OP 45 communicated directly with the Sim-D rack and I would like to do the same with the MP277. First,is this even possible? Second, what hardware do I need to change to make this possible? I have the text files of the tags and I have imported them once into WinCC Flexible 2007.

The MP will plug into the SS4 card on the CS7 board. This is the plan for now. The SS4 allows serial communicsation with RS232, if you add a SS1 TTY/20mA can be used. But no PROFIBUS or Ethernet. With STRUC you habe to gererate a addressbook and import this into the HMI programming software. If I remember right,there was a tool called Probi. I never had to connected a panel to Simadyn D, so I can't say more.
