MP370 security login not working

MCL Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Adonis Hi there, We have an ongoing problem with our MP277. We use this panel to change recipes on our machine which requires a username and login to be entered to initiate the change. The issue we are having is that the username/login does not work from time to time, which can only be fixed by powering off the unit and re-starting. This is definately not a typing misstake from the operators as we have tried the login many times to no avail. My question is therefore is there any diagnostics in the panel which would provide more iformation on what the problem is? Do you think the device is simply faulty and needs to be replaced? Any help would be appeciated. Adonis One of my customer has the same problem on an MP370 15in touch, using WinCC Flexible 2005 SP1 HF7. and I downloaded his application another MP370 and did not have that problem. Any solution?

stefke Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi, A customer of mine complaints about the same problem: the MP370 seems to forget its password. I already contacte Siemens and the keep on telling that the problem is cuased by 3 times fault entering (behind each other) of the wrong password. The user than automatically becomes into a special group: unautorised users which cannot login anymore. But the customers keeps on telling that he does not enter the wrong password. I will contact Siemens again what to do.........
