May be you should configure the MPI connection as standard ? in Simatic manager - Options - Set PG/PC Interface ? |

Hi ELSAVAN As I can see in the picture ,you are using the adapter by connecting it to COM port. Please check this FAQ from SIEMENS. Also check transmission rate selector of adapter, this should match transmission rate of corresponding COM port.you can adjust the setting in windows' device manager. In "Set PG and PC interface" set the selected baud rate. finally , make sure that other programs are not using the com port at the time of your request. Please upload a snapshot of the alarm screen.Confirm whether you check all cases. Best regards |

Hello ELSAVAN 1. Check setting interface port in set PG/PC interface. It's must be RS232 (not usb) 2. Check speed COM port on adapter (19200 or 38400) and set same in set PG/PC interface, speed of MPI must be 187.5 Kbod 3. Adapter receive Power +24V from MPI PLC. Check connect cable and PLC. 4. Adapter correct work with COM port based on ISA bus (implementation on Motherboard). Some Laptop have COM-port based on PCI-bus (in realityemulation com-port) - with this implementation COM-port there is a problem |
