MPI Connection Failure

doz Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi; I am working with both Step 7 (V 5.5) and TIA PORTAL(V13 SP1 Upd9). MPI connection began to give an error ( Online: Communication link to the adapter damaged) when I tried to connect S7 312C-2DP by using Step 7 . I noticed the beginning of this problem after set up TIA portal on my computer. I tried to check all MPI properties. Only one notation difference is seen when I enter the set PC/PG Interface. It is PC Adapter.MPI.1 instead of PC Adapter(MPI). Could you help solving this failure? Thank you

If you can, check in Win device Manager your Adapter as device, hope it is without any driver error status. If you can, zip all screenshots from each important PG/PC screens related to MPI settings. We can look to this.

Thank you hey enter your device manager , you will find the pc adapter as a (simatic usb ) click on it and choose unistall drive , but not to click delete data from c. then unplug the cable from the PC and plug it again ,, it hope that works
