Hello Nelliyan; Wjat part number does your MPI cable have? It seems the KepwareOPC NPI driver only supports the RS-232 to MPI Adapter, not the USB version or any CP *such as the CP 5711). Siemens S7 MPI OPC Server - Kepware Technologies S7 USB MPI PLC to (KEPserverEX OPC) There are a few more links on the web with suggestions on this issue, but if you have no serial port on your PC, you are going to have to re-examine the use of this driver or moduft the connections. Thanks, this s the same answer i got from the kepware guy. Mine s MPI / USB (232),,, I need one suggestion like, whether to use this MPI/232 (DP9 port ) or modules like 1 & 2 Does any one have any idea or used any systems to achieve this concept provide some inputs.. Regards, Nelliyan.G |
