Mplayer in WinCC

I embedded an mplayer control in a WinCC graph, but don't know how to set the playback property so that the multimedia file can be played by mplayer time and time again and never stop? Another question is: where can I find a detailedguide on how to embed animated GIF using ActiveX control in WinCC? Yes, a truely detailed guide for dummies.[:blush:] Thanks!

There is possibly a better way but this does work : - Open the Properties Dialog box for the Media Player Control - Go to Events -> Object Events -> PlayStateChange - Create the following VBS script Dim mplayer Set mplayer = ScreenItems("Control1") If newstate = 1 Then mplayer.URL = "C:\my_music_file.wma" End if This automatically reloads the music file when the track ends, causing it to start again [:D] Regarding documentation, as ActiveX controls are generic and not specific to WinCC, there is no really good specific help anywhere. You need to learn about WinCC and then learn about ActiveX controls and then tie the two together [:(] Salma

Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	hi, If you just want to play a music file you could also use the following code: [code]void PlaySound() #pragma code ("Winmm.dll") VOID WINAPI PlaySoundA(char* pszSound, char* hmode, DWORD dwflag); #pragma code() PlaySoundA("file.wav", NULL, 0x0002); [/code] Please note that you can set different play back options with the third parameter. I think 0x0002 means "play after each other", you have to look for your self to find the meaning of the other parameters, but i'm almost sure that you could configure it in a way that it suit your needs. with regards, Ikkezelf
