Hello ptakkar@tenaris I assume you arereferring to attaching "device 3" to an additionalport of the switch that is already part of your existing MRP ring, correct? If so, there is no problem with that and it won't affect your existing MRP ring. Have a look too at the MRP chapter in the SIMATIC PROFINET System Description manual for more on this. Perhaps the thing i was not catching, is that the switch also supposed to be an MRP supportive device. |
