MSI INSTALLATION FAILURE WINCC PRO

Hy all,

i've got some problems with installing WINCC PRO TIA Portal V13.

see screen shot.

i hope someone can assist me with solving this problem

which antivirus SW? Disable it an try again.

From which location you start the install?

i tried it as followed:

ISO loading and installation.

and extracting all the files to C:/ and installing from there

and tried renaming a driver file i found in a other toppic. then rebooting the PC

nothing worked.

I have trend micro anti virus scanner. unable to disable only by administrator. (need to make a few phone calls for that). I have administrator installation rights.

please can you post the complete logfiles for the installation?

At the moment it lokks that the msi installfile is damaged or blocked, this can be a problem with the antivirus engine.

Where can i find the installation log file?

type %AUTINSTLOG% in the adress tab of the windows explorer

activate the Windows explorer setting "Show hidden files and folders"

can you check the file:

C:\SWSETUP\WINCC\InstData\TIAESTOUR\Media\version.ini
C:\SWSETUP\WINCC\InstData\TIAESTOUR\Media\TIAESTOUR.msi

Do the files exists ?
Which size ?

If you execute the msi file directly is there a error pop up or is the install done correctly?

ok now we know the reason for the Install failure, it looks that the file is damaged.

Where you get the ISO File?
Or do you mean the Web Download from the Customer Portal site?
