JNL Posts: 6 Rating: (2)	Take a look at these FAQs How the MTBF for SIMATIC IPCs is be calculated? How high are the MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) values for the SIMATIC Panel PCs 677 and 877? For MTBF of an IPC you need to send an email to the presales team.

I can understand that MTBF can vary depending of teh actual configuration, but I cannot understand why is not stated for offered configurations such as this configuratio: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/pd/665161?pdti=td&lc=en-US One can order this Simatic rack PC and all components in the configuration are known. So I wonder what MTFB could be. Eight years ago we have installed SIMATIC Rack PC 547B and so far we didn't have any problems. I wonder if this computer should be replaced or not any time soon. I cannot find its MTBF anywhere.
