Hello, I have a Unified panel for the first time and a lot of problems.

First, to tell my solution in case anyone has similar problems. If you are simulating a project, then saving recipes works normally for you. Once, when you upload a project to the panel, it happened to me that when I wanted to create a new recipe, the entire panel froze. You couldn't press anything on him at all.It didn't work until you took the power off and turned it back on.

Solution was updating firmware on the HMI, and also on the TIA Portal V18. I updated from version 2 to version 3. Now it's working. 

The problem I am facing now is the choice of recipes.
If you have done on one window to save and create recipes, and on the other only to be able to download the recipe to the PLC, the thing does not work like it should. Because on the window where you wan't to select and download recipe, you can not open PARAMETER SET, to show you the recipes. 

It looks like this selection is locked. Even the color of the window is different and it doesn't actually open the list of recipes.

I ticked all the accesses in the settings, but in this second window you just can't select a recipe from the parameter set. I don't know if this might be another bug that hasn't been fixed with the new update?

Had someone already such problem? 

Edit: Another question, I can't find settings, to to make the parameter set window bigger. I can't stretch it, if you have long recipe names, then it's very problematic.

Oh, I miss comfort panels :)

To create a new recipe you must set the value that you want each element of the recipe to have and enter the ID that you want that new recipe to have (for example through a tag in an I/O field). Using the "LoadAndWriteParemeterSet" event, you must select the ID of the parameter set type and use the ID that you assign to it in the tag mentioned before.

Then you must save it with the "ReadAndSaveParameterSet" event reading the same parameters as before.

Yes, I know... If I select recipe in first window, where I create all recipes, I can download it in second window, where i have a schedule trigger from PLC which also download the recipe to the PLC. 

But the main problem is, that in second window you can not select recipe.

I added picture, you can see the difference between the two recipe selection windows. You cannot choose a recipe from the above. While from the one below, which is in the second window, you can.

 Sorry for late answer, yes... This are two different recipe viewers. The viewer where I can upload data to PLC, and where I can create new recipe is on one screen. And another viewer is on popup, and there I can only download recipes - this popup is created for operators, because we don't allow operators to create / save / delete any recipes. 

The only difference between popup and screen is, that in popup I don't show parameters table in the viewer. 

On comfort this was working without problems. 

Do you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for answering.

I didn't get any response from Support about this problem. But I found alone bug on Siemens site with this double recipe viewers. 

When you reload the panel, the parameter table must be synchronized and updated again.This is done with at least a 10s delay after the runtime starts. The parameter table is updated only in one viewer.And it is not automatically updated in the other viewer either, so the other viewer does not even detect that any recipe is saved, so i't does not allow you to choose something from it. 

If you add for example language toggle bit on the screen. And you toggle between 2 languages, in this case, the parameter table is updated again and synchronized, because it changes the language in the table. In this case, however, all saved recipes are nicely updated in both viewers and you can normally choose from both viewers recipes.

Yes, I use latest Panel Image Version V18.0.0.3.

New findings. While the machine is already running. Every time you newly reload a runtime of the panel, the names of the recipes in the secondary language are deleted. Which means that you always have to change them again.

The functionality of these recipes itself is very bad, and if anyone else is going to try to make recipes, you should save your time and save / call everything from the CPU directly, because this is simply too poorly done for some serious applications / machines at the moment and with this version.

Same here.
Been on this 'Unified' wagon for a couple months now, to say the least, it has not been pleasant.

Would absolutely love to be able to handle Recipes like we did on the comfort panels... you know, where things just worked and didnt make you jump through senseless hoops.
