Hello everyone,

I am wondering if it's possible to press two separate buttons on my HMI at the same time. These two buttons would each set separate bits while pressed. My idea is to have operators hold down these buttons while some actuators move. This would help to avoid any injury to operators' hands.

Please let me know if I can do this on the HMI or if I will need to use two separate buttons.

I'm using a WinCC MTP700 unified panel, but this doesn't work either. I'm on v17.

Do I need a setting to use multitouch function? Where could that be if Yes?

Hi EL_T_M,

You are using an MTP, a Multi-Touch Panel. So multitouch is always enabled. However, it is not supported to trigger a press event for two buttons, except for two-handed operation with an enable button.

Is there an example available how to configure 2-hand operation for WinCC unified MTP on Youtube?

The examples I found are not matching the screen properties as in WinCC unified...?
