MTP700 Unified Confort Panel freeze

Hi,

I use a MTP700 Unified Comfort panel with a V18 Simatic 1500 PLC. Got a issue with the panel freezing. Needs to take the power on the panel for it to be working again. 

System event on the PLC:

"Security information: System initiated session termination

-A Previously established system session was terminated due to CPU operating system security efforts"

anyone knows why and how to solve this?

If the panel is freezing, I understand that this is the reason for the event in the CPU diagnostic buffer, since it will have lost connection.

I believe possible remedies to a Unified Comfort Panel freezing would be:

1. Check that the downloaded project does not exceed the hardware limits for which the panel has been tested:

2. Reset to factory settings of the Unified Panel:

Does any of this help prevent the UCP from freezing?

In my opinion, you should check that the date and time of the PLC and the Panel are (almost) the same. This is important for a secure connection.

You should also make sure that the latest image version is installed on your device.

It may also be helpful to grab some log files with the Trace Viewer. However, for a freeze case, this should be done over a longer period of time (maybe a few hours), and reading the log files requires some experience. But if you post the results here, we might be able to help you. Please note that the maximum file size for attachments is 3,000kB.
