Multi-vga problem

If I restart the Wincc Application, one of the monitors doesn’t load the internal (@) pictures (Usually at the first monitor). The Wincc only show the names of the pictures and at the second monitor shows every thing correct. If I manually load @Screen.pdl, every thing works fine!! Somebody already saw this problem occur?? Yes, after activating 5 or 6 times I get this problem Does this happen in a new project as well? If I open and close several times without restarting the machine. Did you run OS-Editor once again? When I run OS-Editor and activate the project works fine! Are there any entries in your WinCC log files? Nothing different, no error message or warning... Which multi-VGA-card do you use? I'm using a ATI 256MB Radeon X600 PCI-express Thanks, Fred

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hi, well, this doesn´t seem to be the VGA-Card which is recommended by Siemens... Did you activate any software-accelerations for this card? => for e.g. Matrox-cards you must NOT use these accelerations. nemo

TCL Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello Fred, My Name is Tom Claessen from Siemens Belgium, Technical Support PCS7. I have the same problem with PCS7 V6.1 + SP1 with 2, 3 and 4 screens. Mostly I see this phenomenon after booting the PC. I have configured autostart for WinCC. So after booting the problem arises. If I just stop WinCC RT and restart it again, the problem is solved. I have to say I don't have this problem everytime I boot the PC station. I disabled the acceleration on the Matrox MultiVGA card (by the way a supported one by Siemens) and I have used the driver delivered on the DVD from PCS7, as it is recommended. I did not use a newer driver for the Matrox because officially this is not supported. So I can not confirm a solution with this. I can reproduce this problem on several IL43 IPC's with the same version of PCS7. At this moment I don't have a solution yet. Best Regards
