Multiproject - sharing same plc between 2 pc

Data block Posts: 81 Rating: (1)	Hello World, I have a project and 1 plc. I have 2 pc with the same project, and i want that me and other friend are connected to the same project for divide the program in 2. How can i do that? Can i use "Multiproject"? When my friend change a FC or create one, that i can have the same. Until now, i only get the change when i close my project and open again. We share the project in a local remote file. Is Multiproject ok for that? how can we do that? 2 people working in the same program in 2 diferent pc? Thanks

With Multi engineering you have a multi-project and remove the single-project and move it to the individual engineering station and edit the project and then add it back to the multi project. There are specific rules as to what you can and cannot do. They are described in the: SIMATIC Configuring Hardware and Communication Connections STEP 7 V5.5 http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/45531110 Paragraph 14 "More than one user editing projects". One of the most important rules with "Multi user" engineering is: "The hardware configuration and the network configuration of a station should only be edited centrally by one user."
