Hi, Working more than one person on the same project can be done in two ways: - Multi user - Multi engineering With Multi user, you connect to the same project over the network. With Multi engineering you have a multi-project and remove the single-project and move it to the individual engineering station and edit the project and then add it back to the multi project. There are specific rules as to what you can and cannot do. They are described in the: SIMATIC Configuring Hardware and Communication Connections STEP 7 V5.5 http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/45531110 Paragraph 14 "More than one user editing projects". One of the most important rules with "Multi user" engineering is: "The hardware configuration and the network configuration of a station should only be edited centrally by one user." |
