Multiranger 200

I remember calling the factory for assistance in configuring differential MultiRanger models.  The indexing that the Hydro/Mulit's use is very confusing and very poorly explained.   When doing it only once or twice a year, every episode becomes a learning curve.

I can't actually recall the details, but I wonder if the P004 index 2 has to be configured for value 1, just like P004 index 1 in order to identify the transducer as an XPS-15.. 

There's a statement in the attached word doc with screen shots from the manual under the "Average or Differential" that setting P001 to value 4 (differential mode) will result in "all of the relevant parameters then become indexed by the correct transducer". 

But could the error you are seeing be due to the 2nd transducer not being identified properly?   It just isn't clear.
