Must I need to connect shield of sensor to PE or FE?

The type K thermocouple has metal shield that not connect to any earth yet. I touch shield and got fluctuate signal read on LOGO. So in this case, must I need to connect shield of sensor to PE od FE..??? ...sent from App ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from FE terminal.
