Named conection with PLCSIM

I am able to set up conection to PLCSIM via MPI and Industrial Ethernet by using PG/PC interfance PLCSIM (ISO). But when I try the same by using Named Conection I do not have active conection to WinCC runtime. Is it possble to do it? Regards, Djordje

mike1965 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I did not get NamedConnection working, but the following procedure should get it up and running with PCS7 v7.x. Requirements for working with PLCSIM (v5.4) * No connections with present/existing automation systems * WinCC ChannelDriver available (WinCC Explorer - TagManagement - Simatic S7 ProtocolSuite * If there is a NamedConnection, reCompile OS (change only) and change connection to subnet type "Industrial Ethernet" Procedure * Start PLCSim (PLCSIM(ISO)) * Download HardwareConfiguration * Download Charts * Put PLCSim in RUN * Finally start OS Simulation on ES Enjoy.
