NC module dead not booting properly

Ententa Posts: 36 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a problem with one machine. NC/PLC doesn't start properly. The PCU cant get a signal from PLC. The seven - segment display cycles up to 8 (not sure if it skips trough all digits, they move too fast), then back to 5 for some time, then to 6 for a second, and then the digit disappears and only dot from cyclic error remains. The green leds (POK and PR) are lit, all other are off. I tried connecting to PLC via step 7, but i got a timeout error.

List Posts: 664 Rating: (17)	Hai, Which is the controller you are using?? 810D/840D If you have backup of NC/PLC with you,Just try for PLC&NC clearing. If it is OK, and "6" is displaying after clearing your hardware is OK,and reload your backup. If not,your Hardware may have some error.May have to repair the hardware/reload the system software.. I was hoping for some way to see what could be the error.If I reset the controller and it starts working again i have no guarantee it won't go haywire again. This time it happened while the cutting tool was away from the machined detail. If it happens again during work... Lets just say that machining a single detail takes 3 months. This machine makes tolerated diameters. A single machine stop next at material can permamently damage the surface and deastroy diameter. It would be troublesome if three months of work went to waste.
