NCK adress change in CCU2 by HT6

Gadhaviji Posts: 63 Rating: (2)	Dear Expert, I am trying to change NCK address of CCU 2 from HT6.I did below process forNCK 1.Power OnSystem 2. Acess level Manufacture. 3. NC 4.NCK Address 5.Enter 6 tonew NCK add 6.Save 7.OK 8.Error"Error while writing DDE variable" 9.Massage "NCK address not change" In HT 6 for HMI did below process. 1.Acess level Manufacture. 2.HMI (I can see two option ,One is Action log and second is DOS editor) 3.DOS editor 4.Error "Error on opening bedien.dat" Finaly i am not able to change address in NCK and HMI. I have check same process using PCU 20,seme problem is comming. Please guide me. Reg. Hinglaj

Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (484)	Hello.... Can your try using Simatic Field PG/Laptop with HMI advanced PC/PG loaded and check the NCK address change in CCU? Check it out hope this will solve your problem..... Regards, Ekalavya

Gadhaviji Posts: 63 Rating: (2)	Dear Expert, I will try to change NCK addressby HMI advance using PG,i will update you for same. But how to change Address in HT6. If i change NCK address in CCU then H6 will not communicate. Machine Brief idea. --- Machine is with CCU1 and CCU2,both CCU is connected through MPI. --- PCU20 is connected with CCU1 with NCK address 3. ---HT6 is connected with CCU2 with NCK address 6. But my new HT6 is communicating with NCK address 3 only. Please help me how to change NCK address in HT6.

Once you have changed the MPI configuration you must regenerate the system software of the HT 6 and transfer it to the HT 6 via PC card. This action is described in detail in: References: /IAM/ IBN HMI Chapter: Installation and Start-Up of SINUMERIK HT 6 Note MPI addressThe default setting of the MPI address is 14D (decimal). We recommend keeping the MPI address. If you change the MPI address you must also adapt the GD circle parameterization. See Section 7.6, Page 7-175. Data transfer rate The data transfer rate is automatically recognized by HT 6.

Please help me how to configure this address in HT6 and How to generate system software. PLease what are tools required to perform this job? Reason for address change: In our machine two CCU are using.CCU1 is communicating with PCU20 NCK address 3and CCU2 is communicating with HT6 NCk address 6 .Both CCU is communicating through MPI. Now i have problem in HT6,so i want to change HT6.I have purchased HT6. New HT6 is only communicating with NCk address 3, but our requirement is to communicate with NCK address 6. PLease help me to change this address. Exatly mention what are software and hardware are required to finshed this job?

ABB) File from the old HT6 and copy it to the new Attachment EN_A024 Harddisk_backup_pl.pdf (289 Downloads)

No... system card don't distrub... You need to use compact flash cardwhich sits on the pcu 20... regards Ekalavya
