A Sensorprom is a Flash EPROM that contains calibration data for a Siemens flowmeter, such as Mag5000 or Mag6000. It comes with the flowmeter when it is purchased. Each Sensorprom contains the calibration data for a specific glowmeter.

If you need to replace a Sensorprom, you need to ask for a quote from a Siemens rep, giving the serial number and model of the unit it will be placed in. Siemens keeps a database of calibration data for each flowmeter they sell so they can retrieve it, for such an intervention.
