Need absolute address but DB is symbolic?

Excellent response.  Yes, the FB property / attribute needs to have Optimized Access unchecked.  Then delete the DB and compile the FB again.  If that does not work, or the compiler complains, I usually just remove the FB, drag it back in, and it prompts me for the instance DB name.  Usually I use the default name same as you did.

Now the instance DB is non-optimized, and you can use absolute addressing.

I guess this is an instance-DB.

you need to ajust this in the proberties of the responding FB, I guess it is FB1.
