Hello,

 SFC13 can not be used for PROFINET IO but you can try:

1. SFB 54 (event -based)
2. SFB52  (status-based)

Thanks. Can you tell me what the ID and Index input require. I was assuming the ID is the diagnostic address but I  have no idea what the Index should be

ID is the logic address of the component/module you want to read. If you want to read an output module, bit 15 has to be set (i.e. if address is 7, ID:=DW#16#8007).

Index is the dataset number.
