Need help in pcs7, chart copy/paste issue

XEdenX Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	hi all, I am new to pcs7 so forgive my bad scientific language. i have a working project and i needed to do some testing on a particular chart (named 1250) inside the project so i did the following: 1- renamed chart "1250" to "1250_" 2- cut and paste it into a temp project 3- copy a testing "1250" chart to the working project. 4- download the program to plc and complete my testing. 5- bring back the old chart into the working project and rename back from "1250_" "1250" 6- download the program to plc I expected everything will be back to normal. the problem is that WinCC graphical representation related to this "1250" chart is not operating (seems that connection between the graphical representation and the chart is broken". When i run my project in WinCC runtime i see every thing related to this chart is "dashed" I appreciate your urgent help

AS compiler can assign a brand new addresses to blocks related to chart "1250", which is most probably the case here, especially if all other charts operate problem-free. This means that delta OS compilation should be carried out prior to new WinCC runtime start. Hope this helps. Regards.

XEdenX Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	hi crazyCow, I didn't compile the OS, I just compiler the chart then downloaded the compiled charts into the plc. I will try solution suggested and let you know and let you know
