Dear Sir,

I want to communicate and control following Invertors and Encoders with S7-300 PLC Through CAN BUS,
I need following Function blocks as described in user manual
FC 60 CANSEND Transmission of a CAN frame (asynchronous)
FC 61 CANRCV Receiving a CAN frame
FC 62 CANCTRL Management functions
FC 63 CANSENDTIMER Change values of a Timer CAN frame

Can I use single module for communicate with CAN OPEN and CAN-Layer2 11-bit at a time,
or should I use separate 2 modules, one for encoder (CAN-OPEN) and one for Invertors(CAN Layer-2).

inverter :
Lenze 9325 Es on system Bus CAN Qty 13
Lenze 8200 using CAN Module

Encoder:Posital fraba Obslute encoder CAN Open

Card Module: CAN 300 700-600-CAN01

CPU: Siemens s7-300 6es7 315-2af03

The module is a Helmholz product, unless a member here has direct experience with this module and is willing to offer help, your best bet woiuld be to ask Helmholz.
