Need help with some code

I hope you are all fine and well.

I have 3 Function Blocks (22,23,24).

FB22 calls FB23 and FB24. The codes inside FB23 and FB24 looks almost the same.

When FB22 calls FB23 for example, you see the following parameters:

• DBNR : DB number

• E-V1 --> E-V8 : These are assigned to flags that are set in other parts of the program. These flags mean ( machine 1 move right slow, machine 1 move left slow, ...etc.)

• R,V1 --> R,V8 : Mysterious values

• ANAL : This is the assignment of the Analog output channel. I verified that the channels correspond to the flags to the right machine.

I "feel" that the block assigns certain "speed" or value to the AO channel according to the state of input flags.

I just don't understand where are these values grabbed from as it uses a lot of indirect addressing (DO instruction) and I am not very well at indirect addressing

My aim is to convert this into S7, which I think I can do, but I just don't know what are the input values?!!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

 Sometimes when we don't get to much info from the machine, for ex: electrical drawings, manuals or other stuff, the only way is observe the machine running and study it and  try to understand the working principle with the operators and other people that work with it and forget the conversions and made the program at your own way more. Explore the parameters and try to understand the machine.

I tried to break the code through trial and error and analyzing the outputs

It is as I believe a code for reading from a DB and moving the entry of the DB to an AO.
