Need PLC SIEMENS for Minimum Aplication

trisnas Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	hi sorry if my question is less clear, I had a mass flow meter. were initially monitored manually by looking to the local display. now I want to be monitored on a computer, is not possible if I pull the data directly to a computer, I need a PLC that has a HART analog inputs to pull the data from the mass flow meter (such as flow totalizer, temperature, density, etc). My question, do you have any recommendations simens PLC that can be used, for the minimum application ?

For example, "E+H Fieldcare" for E+H HART-devices. Choice depends of desirable functionality, using HART-communicator is appropriate only for human operator monitoring. As you wrote above, mass flowmeters had been monitored by looking to its own displays, I guess this way will be helpful for you.

PLC will be costly. There are many third party devices/software available in market to visualize it on PC. Like one of our friend here suggested about using HART protocol. Link
