We are going to upgrade V13 sp2 to V14 sp1 upd1, and some must use VS2017, could someone confirm:

Could we temporary uninstall  KB3186497(or others ) and hided it from windows update? After that we could use WinCC TIA Portal V14 sp1?

Is safe for us to use TIA WinCC V13 sp2 with .net 4.7?

I think Siemens team is working on an update/upd2, is there any time table?

Actually,  V13 sp2 and V14 sp1 are separated product, it could be installed in one computer, we had tested in a PC and a virtual machine.

For the old projects maintenance and license reason, we will be using both version for a time. 

I have made reg file to to temporarily block installation of the .NET Framework 4.7 and reverse it.

put four lines in 

block .net4.7.reg:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\WU]
"BlockNetFramework47"=dword:00000001

unblock .net4.7.reg:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\WU]
"BlockNetFramework47"=-

Windows update will not install  .net 4.7 until you unblock it.

or you could use my uploaded files they are the same.

DO NOT FORGET install 4.7 when Siemens releases an update to make compatible with .net 4.7.

But in the readme, there is no information about compatibility with .Net 4.7. So maybe we need wait for another 2 months.

V15 will fix this problem.

We have to wait and change it to V15. I thinks SIEMENS should really consider make a stable  version of TIA Portal.

And of course, with all necessary functions.
