Hello

 I have no experience with profinet and I have to check  ongoing comunication  with other devices on my S7-317 PLC . Normally as I read it is done in the netpro but  as I see in netpro there is good view of the profibus stations but nothing about profinet .The plc module is just connected to the green profinet  line.  I have to add that I don't have  source code but only uploaded project.  I know there should be comunication with at least 2  PLC-s ,scada and OPC. For the moment I would like to find out the comunication tree but in the futute  I will have to remove some old stations which are comunicating with this PLC.  Any  advices will be appricieted . I suppose it is only Ethernet ? If so is there any possiblity to check what is exchanged ?

I will talk with our IT guys to check the movment in the network  to find all the units which are communicating . What a pity that Siemens haven't done it like with the profibus. BR . Once again thank You for support.Good luck  W.

You're right. I haven't found any comunicating block in the  project. As I suppose I should find it in the projec tree as a eg. sfb14  /sfb15 or other write protected simens block .
