Network Communication between S7-300 (Master) and 2 ET200S Units (Slaves)

Hello,
I'm an electromechanical engineering student, and i'm working on a project concerning a network configuration between a master CPU (S7-300) and 2 slaves (ET200s) using an Profibus DP, i was able to simulate the configuration on Simatic step 7 manager, but unfortunately, i have no idea how to link these items together in reality.

How to supply the CPU with energie? how the profibus links should be in order to garantee the communication between the master and their salves? how to communicate with PC using Ethernet Network? and a lot more question concerning the hardware.

Is there any documentation or lecture you would recommend, that could be helpful for me?

First, there are manuals installed on your computer along with the Siemens programming software that will give you a lot of information on the issues you are searching for. Look in Simatic/Documentation on your main drive.

You can easily find manuals, FAQs and Application notes on Siemens automation equipment using the Search Box at the right of this page, and then selecting various filters to limit the search results.

There is much information on Siemens PLCs available on the net; here is a video tutorial showing how to setup a master S7-300 CPU with multiple ET 200S slaves (and other automation equipment) on Profibus-DP, from a search on Google Use it as a basis for your own application. Onc the configuration is done, use the provided addresses to access the IO on the ET 200S slaves in the master’s program directly.
