Network for old S5 and S7-400H to top end PCS7

We are fetching S5 data through old OTN -36 network via MTU interface (using ethernet S5 CP) to our new proposed pcs7 system via optical fiber connected to scalance.(we dont want to use Old LSX top end instead we are proposing pcs7 sytem at top end.Please refer to network configuration. we are also simultaniously communicating to pcs7 system from our new RTUS7-400H stations. Can anybody tell me their views on this network?? any better solution??? this is S5- pcs7 migration project which we are doing in phase manner. If you are really interested in doing a conversion from an S5 to an S7 system I would strongly recommend discussing this with your local SIEMENS representative. They may provide you some help from a PCS7 Competence centre and maybe the project support. The question in your network is how far do you want to go? Do you want to have single FO line connections from you SCALANCE X 408 or 414-3 to the SCALANCE X200 or X300 you want to place at the S7-400H? Don't you want media redundancy too? Just seen from the network point of view. I do not even think about your PC networking... but this is something the PCS7 people know much more about. Best regards J_Bell
