Networking between PLCs and servers?

Is this possible solution? The idea is to have 2 redundant winCC servers, and if both of them crashes, FTP server will store the data until they come back. Thank you in advance for your time! Struja Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	But I've used SCALANCE X202-2IRT as redundancy managers, and the rest X104-2 just to make a ring. Do I need to use all switches with redundancy manager option on the ring or just one is enough. I put two because of my servers, if one of them crashes (PC or his SWITCH), the other takes his place.

Pittiplatsch Posts: 1368 Rating: (128)	Hello, sure. All Switches must support the Ring-Function. One Switch is Redundacy-Manager, the others are Clients. As Ring, you can use MRP or HRP. The redundanz is only valid for the ring, but not for your WinCC redundancy. Therefore, you need another solution.
