New Design with WinCC in TIA Portal – Style your HMI device

With the new Style-Editor you can create your own Corporate Design at the touch of a button. I very much like the idea of creating a look-and-feel style for HMI panels. Today our office looked into the use of the STYLES for the use in KTP700 panels. We have noticed that we can use the standard styles for our HMI project. But with a WinCC Basic license (as we have), the creation and editing of styles are not possible. We could see no documentation that states that fact (need better than Basic license).. thus the reason for this note. Greetings. w

"In WinCC V13 onwards you can use so-called styles. You can also use these styles for Basic Panels. However, with WinCC Basic you cannot create any new styles. This is only possible with WinCC Comfort onwards." Which functions can you use with the different WinCC (TIA Portal) Engineering versions (Basic/Comfort/Advanced/Professional)?
