new siprotec devices to SCS

Q2-what should i prepare for this vendor ?? q3-i should give .scd file to the vendor which will be used in its configuration to add signal to hmi system. dear all please i need to take a decision . thank you very much for prompt answer

Q2 Remember that Siprotec is a protection device. You have to configure the protection first, which will then define the information available to be sent to the 61850 clients. Then you have to configure the IEC61850 Station Q3 CID or SCD, depends on what they can import. Mike

fanana Silver Member Joined: 5/13/2012 Last visit: 9/14/2024 Posts: 179 Rating: (1)	thank you very much mike for answer first of all 1-client request us to use siprotec device and BCU from siemens because he want to extend his substation . 2-the exsit vendor is ingteam company using PROCOME protocol between UCS(substaion control unite) it is collect data from BCU(TCP-m) and protection devices and then dend it to Control center and HMI . 3-i must give him an answer with yes we can connect siemens device support this type of protocol or not ? 4-i have read in the manul Ingteam product that if you need to connect device support IEC61850 you should contact us. what should i do? thank you very much to support me Attachment 15PG-00-BBY-EMP-IGT-004 Rev 0 - UCS_IH_Info.pdf (146 Downloads)
