ixo65 Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 1/17/2025 Posts: 34503 Rating: (4306)	Siemens has issued a product announcement: *New V1.82.02 firmware available for LOGO! 8.* However, the included link to the update file does not make any sense. Likewise, the files leading to the upgrades of LSC and Web Editor are also untraceable. If the updates / upgrades are available, I will update this.

RKBIS Gold Member Joined: 2/20/2014 Last visit: 1/14/2025 Posts: 405 Rating: (38)	Hi, I have installed the Logo Soft Comfort Software (8.2.1) & i notice that the there is now new icon created for Logo Soft Comfort V 8.2.1 (unlike the V8.2). Previously when there was an update released (upon installation we will be able to see two or three options two open the Logo Soft Comfort): one is Logo Soft Comfort V 8.0 & the other Logo Soft Comfort V 8.1 & Logo Soft Comfort V 8.2. But now after installing the Logo Soft Comfort V 8.2.1, i am only able to see the option Logo Soft Comfort V 8.2.1 (i understand this may be due to the difference in the version number - third digit in this new installer but previously the update version has changes in the second digit). Example previously the updates was number 8.0 > 8.1 > 8.2 but now it is number 8.2.1 (I have no problem with this but just wanted to check & confirm if this is how it should be). Besides, i do notice that in the hardware configuration the new LOGO! device 8.2 is still not added in this Logo Soft Comfort Update instead the same LOGO! 8 FS4 still being shown as the latest available hardware in the selection list. I understand that we have moved on to hardware version FS 5 then FS6 & now 8.2 (I am not sure what name to be called now since the FS for the current hardware is FS 1. So in this case there might be confusion sooner or later (unless someone can provide the part number of the device in order for us know on which FS 1 is the unit is from (part number ending with - 0BA8 & 0BA0) Attachment LSC Hardware Configuration.png (974 Downloads)

Was already from V8.1.0 to V8.1.1 like that. Yes, it is a LOGO! 8.FS4, even after the firmware update.

Because it's not just the firmware update alone, it is the complete update: - Firmware update - Update for LSC V8.2.0 to V8.2.1 - Update for LOGO! Web Editor

peterakos Posts: 51 Rating: (5)	@IXO65 I also downloaded the big file, and maybe from Siemens side it looks smart to send all in one download. But many users do not have fast internet or are on a job side.....etc. in my case (personnally) this was a download for 20 min. .......to receive a 1.3 Gb file and i really needed to win64 version and the firmware update that is less then 200Mb...... It is a waisting data traffic, and as so i prefer when Siemens also gives the alternative so that the users can download only that what they need. this also avoids server loading at siemens side.

Previously you could download the updates for the software via the Update Center of the LSC. But has been discontinued. Then you could download the updates / upgrades from the demo site. I do not know why you are doing something else again and I can not understand it.
