No communication between WinCC Professional and PLCSIM V15.1

Shapovalov_as Advanced Member Joined: 5/22/2014 Last visit: 4/15/2025 Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Hello experts! I'm trying to run a WinCC Professional and PLCSIM simulation. I use CPU 1214, Windows 7 SP1. That's what i did: 1. In TIA PORTAL "Connections" => "Access point" set "S7ONLINE" 2. Set PG/PC interface "PLSSIM.TCPIP.1" 3. Start simulation PLCSIM 4. Start WinCC simulation. But! After downloading WinCC there is no connection! I tried to look at the settings "Communication Settings", but there is no simulator driver. I tried to test the simulation on the WinCC Advanced. All is well. I want to note that after starting the PLCSIM the system starts to work very slowly. For example, WinCC compiles, opens, and runs for more than 15 minutes. Without a simulator it all takes 1 minute. P.S. In attachment screens connection settings Attachment Screen.zip (486 Downloads)

Which Image Version of the WInCC Professional do you have set in the HMi Project? Do you use a security Level in the S71200 PLC? Do you use a Password in the Security Level of the S71200? Bye Murof

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 4/23/2025 Posts: 15338 Rating: (1894)	Hello you have to bu sure that a PLC Sim cannot comunicate outside the PC!! its Made for a simulation on ONE System, so Simulation with WinCC Adv. and WinCC Prof is working. PLC Sim Advanced is able to do this but you cannot use S71200 with it. Or do I misunderstand your Problem? Bye Murof
