No "entry page" option for webserver in TIA Portal V13

I am installing webserver in my S7-1200 1212C and I want to have a direct access to my web page from the browser (set it as my "Entry page"), but some problems occurred. I can't find any option to do it in TIA Portal V13 sp2. I looked through the forum for some help and someone posted this link:

That topic suggests that this solution is for S7-1200 and S7-1500 CPU's, but in my version of TIA-Portal there is no "Entry page" option between "User-defined Web pages" and "Overview of interfaces".

In other topic i saw someone who had similar problem and he even posted a photo from his program (in the attachment), but he didn't get the right answer/solution.

Maybe I just want too much? Is it even possible to set "entry-page" for S7-1200? Or maybe this is just a problem with my version of TIA Portal?

Any kind of help will be appreciated.

I believe to do what you want, you have to add the login process to your web page(s).  I think V13 Sp2 was the first update that required or changed how the web server handled the login. You will need to review the manual, and/or contact Siemens Support for details.

You can upgrade to V14 / SP1 and be current and start there.

Thank you for answer. Unfortunately I think at this point only direct contact with Siemens Support will help (i hope).

I made the most simple web page it can be, and the 95% of code is this "Login section" from the Siemens example. It didn't work.

When doing everything like in the instruction (link), without using "Entry page" option (which for some reason I do not have in my TIA Portal), I am getting 2 results:

- When i am typing 192.168.0.1 (my PLC's address) then I am still going to the main S7-1200 Start page.

- When I will try to go to my website through the direct link "http://192.168.0.1/awp/index.htm", then my browser is showing me a Login/password information (which is ok), but when I type those data and press "Log in" button I am being redirected again to the main S7-1200 Start web page / User Pages from where i have to click another link to finally get to my www page.

It can't work that way. I will try to contact with Siemens Support and if I will get a solution (I hope there is one), i will post it below.

I think i found a solution, but I have to check it (I have to wait for Siemens authorization to download some file).

I bought my S71200 1212C in 07.2016 and it has 4.1.3 version of firmware. It looks like in 09.2016 (2 months later) Siemens made an update to version 4.2 which should solve my problem:

"New features in the V 4.2 release:

[...]

• Web server enhancements
  [...]

The newest version of firmware is 4.2.1. I am waiting for the authorization (which i mentioned above) to get this file and I will let you know if it will work.

I downloaded and installed this firmware update but new problem occurred. After releasing the FW 4.2 for S7-1200 PLC, Siemens added one more information, which wasn't repeated for FW4.2.1:

"Required software: TIA Portal with STEP 7 V14 Basic or STEP 7 V14 Professional"

I read that many people had problems with running PLC's with FW4.2 together with TIA V13 (f.ex. some error notifications during downloading the project to PLC), but it looks like newest FW4.2.1 is backwards compatible.

So where is the problem now? TIA Portal V13 during "Device configuration" has only an option to pick CPU's up to FW4.1. When i installed new firmware FW4.2.1 in my PLC, even if from dropdown list I could pick FW4.1, everything works fine, same as before... but still without "Entry page" option in Web server configuration. 

At this point I think the only real option will be to buy an upgrade from TIA V13 to TIA V14 

Can anyone with S7-1200 PLC and firmware 4.2(or above) confirm that he has a Web server "Entry page" option in his TIA Portal V13?

 no this is not possible.

In TIA no V4.2 PLC is in the catalog and no V4.2 specific settings are displayed in the PLC properties.

In TIA V14 if you create a V4.2 S7-1200 this entry in in the properties of PLC, but in V13 no way.
