Good Day all

I am experiencing a communication problemin that I am not able to send information (26 bytes) with FC5 AG_SEND and I am getting no diagnostics back.

I am using layer 4 protocols (ISO) between an S7 315-2DP with a CP343-1 CP and an S5 115U with a CP1430.

The connections are being establishedand information is being sent by the S5 to the S7 over this connection without issues. The communication was working in both directions for over 1 month.

When calling FC5 in the S7 I never get a responce from the S5, that is no error or done is returned and the and my status remains 8181 (Job active).

Netpro also provides no clues as to the problem; The connection dispalys "Established", received mesaages are fine however messages sent successfully and unsuccessfully remain 0.

Has anyone else encountered this issue using AG_Send?

Have you tried restarting the CPs? It may be worth a try.

I am using version 4.2 of the CP_300 family.

I am certain that no done bit or error bit are set, as these would initiate new send command:

P.S. I am using this FC5 in the same project to communicate to other S5 controllersin the exact same manner with success

This is why I am so confused: when I run the special diagnosticson this connection, my counts are not incremented; that is the receives are fine but the send counts (succesful and unsuccesful) remain 0.

This is not the only communication, however I did remove all other com calls to on the module with the same results.
